• Liverpool should return to Holland from Manchester city!.

There has been a new stir in the sports world, when former Liverpool star John Aldridge suggested that Liverpool should try to include Manchester City star player Erling Holland in their squad. Aldridge's statement comes after Manchester City was found guilty of 114 out of 115 charges for financial breaches between 2009 and 2018. City have appealed against the decision, and if the penalty is implemented, it could seriously impact the club.

Aldridge said that if City were punished, several of their top players, including Haaland, could consider leaving the team. He appealed to Liverpool fans to take advantage of this opportunity and try to bring the Dutchman to their club. Aldridge said, "The agents of all City players are ready to take advantage of this situation. If City suffer a relegation, players like Holland will not be prepared to play at a lower level."

Aldridge also said that world-class players like Haaland, who is currently at Manchester City, could move to bigger clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris San-Germain, where they would receive the same wages they are earning at City. This situation could be worrying for City, as they have many players who play at the highest level.

Aldridge added, "If City had to sell their players for any reason, Holland would be the first to be sought by many clubs, including Liverpool." He also said that if this happens, several other high quality players could also push for a transfer.

Manchester City recently spent around £460 million in the summer of 2026, including signings for players like Enzo Fernandez, Eliot Anderson and Ayoub Bouadi. If City are punished, these players may also consider leaving the club. According to Aldridge, this situation could be very serious for the city.

Aldridge's views clearly indicate that Manchester City's current situation will not only impact their players, but also their rivals, such as Liverpool. Now all eyes are on how City will react and whether they will be able to retain their top players.

If Manchester City faces financial penalties, the chances of Hollande and other top players leaving the club could increase.
