For Harry Kane, it was another great performance. In a thrilling 2-2 Champions League draw between Bayern Munich and Arsenal, Kane took control of the game within 25 minutes. As Bayern was preparing to take a goal-kick, Kane inspired his teammates with a long 80-yard pass. It was a wonderful strategy, which almost gave Bayern the lead.

Former Manchester City defender Ndom Onuoha said, "Under Vincent Kompany, Kane has gained a confidence that he probably hasn't seen under any other manager." He also said that "No one has ever seen him take a goal-kick. But an experienced goalkeeper like Manuel Neuer saw it all and thought, 'Okay, go away'."

Although Kane did not get the chance to provide another spectacular assist, he quickly made an important contribution for Bayern. When Eberechi Eze put Arsenal ahead, Kane sent a beautiful pass to Alphonso Davies to score. Then, he scored a penalty midway through the second half to put Bayern ahead, taking his tally of goals against Arsenal to 16.

However, Declan Rice finally scored a goal to equalize for Arsenal. Kane's performance established him as a leading contender for the 2026 Ballon d'Or. The 33-year-old former Tottenham captain could become the first English player to win the prestigious award since Michael Owen in 2001.

Kane was named in a list of 30 players in September, and the winner will be announced by an international jury on Monday. Declan Rice said, "He is the clear winner. His statistics speak for themselves. What he has done this year is amazing. When you play with him, you understand how good he is."

Since joining Bayern Munich, Kane has scored 156 goals in 158 matches. It was one of those memorable nights for him, but with the Ballon d'Or ceremony approaching, the best is yet to come. Ken said, "It would be amazing to win. Voting has already closed. Now all I can do is wait."
