CONMEBOL teams have had a very poor start to the 2026 World Cup, following Ecuador's defeat against Ivory Coast. They only got one point out of a possible nine points, a result of Brazil's draw against Morocco. These figures rank CONMEBOL as the confederation with the lowest points total to date.

Uruguay, Colombia, and Argentina have yet to debut. Will they be able to turn things around for the South American teams?
