The 13th round of Ekstraklasa has ended. Monday showed us that simply possessing the ball is not enough. Radomiak Radom recorded important wins which helped them to get out of the relegation zone. Pogon Szczecin, on the other hand, suffered defeat for the first time since July.

Since the festival of All Saints was on Sunday and there were no matches on that day, Monday was an unusually busy day for the Ekstraklasa, in which we saw three matches. In Lublin, Zagłębie struggled to make the Top 4. They needed only 2 points by defeating Corona Kielce.

This match reminds us that no matter how much possession the ball has during a match, what is most important is what we do with it. Corona had 75 percent possession of the ball, but they did not take any advantage of it. They had to concede an early goal, which happened in the 4th minute. Ariel Mosor blocked Marcel Ragula's shot so that the ball went into his own goal. This ultimately proved to be the only goal of the match. Zagłębie won and finished in 5th place after the 13th round, while Corona remained in 10th place.

In Radom, an important match took place which was important in terms of the bottom of the table. Radomiak had suffered five consecutive defeats and needed a win. Slask, on the other hand, had recently won 2-0 away to Wiechęsta Kraków and were looking to continue the momentum. It was an exciting match, with the score 1–1 within the first six minutes.

The Wroclawian helped Jan Grzyński become the hero in the second half. Radomiak's winger took advantage of mistakes by the visiting defenders and scored two goals, thus Radomiak won 3–1. With this he has moved to 15th position and is 2 points above the drop zone. Slask has now moved into decline territory.

We finished the 13th round in Chentochova. Here Rakow played against Pogon Szczecin. The hosts had no chance of climbing out of the relegation zone, but a win could bring them closer. Pogon had not lost in away matches so far and had conceded only one goal. That's why Rakov's fans were worried when their team conceded a goal in the very first 5th minute.

The hosts had a great chance to equalize in the first half, but Lamine Diaby-Fadiga made a first-time mistake from the penalty spot. However, they were more effective in the second half. Goals from Makuch and Rakovitan put the hosts ahead 2–1. The match eventually ended 3–1. Pogon finished with nine appearances in the match, and received one red card for goalkeeper Valentin Kozoku. They had no replacements, so central defender Dimitrios Keramitsis became the goalkeeper and faced the goal. Rakow won and moved closer to a safe position.
