Barcelona have made a great start to the 2026/27 season. Hansi Flick's team has done this with goals. The Blaugrana have won all seven of their opening matches in La Liga and the Champions League, setting a new club record. Thus, no previous Barcelona team had won its first seven competitive matches. Flick's team has now changed that, with an undefeated start as well as an attacking performance that is already attracting attention.

Six of these seven wins have come in La Liga, making Barcelona the only team in the division to have won every match so far. His latest triumph was another statement performance, with seven goals taking his league tally to 28 in just six matches. The statistics become even more astonishing when their Champions League campaign is added. Barcelona's 5-1 win against Feyenoord took the total to 33 goals scored in all competitions. This is the first time in Barcelona's history that the club has scored more than 30 goals in its first seven matches.

The offensive production under Flacco has been consistent from the beginning. Barcelona have scored first in six of these seven matches, while only Rayo Viacano has scored first. This early pressure has become a hallmark of Flick's team. Barcelona aren't just taking wins; They finish the match before their rivals. Raphinha has been at the center of this offensive explosion. The Brazilian has scored in six of Barcelona's seven matches this season. The only match in which he did not find the net was against Levant, although he also provided two assists in that encounter.

Flick has started to rely on Raphinha as a false nine, and this decision has yielded fantastic statistics. The forward has scored nine goals in La Liga and two in the Champions League. Of course, there is still a long way to go this season, but Barcelona's first weeks have already produced an amazing series of records. Seven wins, 33 goals and a new club milestone have provided Flick's team with an extraordinary platform.

What will happen next

Barcelona's challenge will increase in the upcoming matches, as they look to maintain their form against other opponents.
