The case of Inter, Sušić? Demand for more opportunities and contract amendment
Background
Peter Sušić, who will turn 23 on October 25, is seen as a high-class midfielder at Inter. He has started in only two of Inter's six matches so far, raising questions about his consistency. There is no doubt about his talent, but he needs more playing time.
Why it matters
Peter Sušić's situation is important for his career at Inter. It is necessary to strike a balance between more playing time in his national team and fewer opportunities at the club. If this situation persists, it may impact their development and future plans.
Key Points

- Peter Sušić, Inter's midfielder, has expressed concerns over his condition. He is playing more with the national team and has expressed dissatisfaction with getting fewer opportunities at the club.
- Inter, Susic è un caso? Add more space and an adjustment: Premiere to all windows.
Petar Sucic's playing time at Italy's Inter has been troubling him. In the last four matches playing for Croatia, he has spent more minutes than for Inter. After Croatia's third consecutive defeat in the recent match against Spain, Sucic did not say anything directly about his situation. "I will talk about these things later. Right now the most important thing is to talk about the national team. When I return to Inter, we will fight for it and after two-three months we will see what the situation is," he said.
Former Inter player Zvonimir Boban also commented on Sušić's situation. He said, "It is clear that he is not comfortable here. In my opinion, Chivu is not giving him as much importance as he should. If it continues like this, how fair is it for Sušić to stay at Inter? He is one of the best midfielders in the world."
However, Inter management has not considered a possible departure of Sušić. Sucic, who will turn 23 on October 25, is viewed as a high-class midfielder and his development is still ongoing. So far, he has started in only two of Inter's six matches. There is no doubt about his talent, but he needs consistency.
The competition at Inter is high, but with increasing fixtures in the coming weeks, their chances could improve.
Additionally, according to Corriere dello Sport, Sucic's contract situation is also under discussion. He is under contract with Inter until 2030, with a salary of around 1.5 million euros per year. But their representatives have already demanded financial reforms. His situation has improved since coming to Italy and there are signs of interest in his talent from England too. Therefore, this issue is going to be on the agenda of Dario Bachin. Both more opportunities and a new contract could be key to keeping Sucic at Inter.
What will happen next
In the coming weeks, Sušić hopes to get more playing time at Inter, especially as the fixtures increase. His contract situation also remains a topic of discussion, and it remains to be seen how the club views his role. If his situation does not improve, the possibility of a move to another Serie A club in the future may also increase.
