Fabio Piscane took a dig at Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti, saying that if Juventus are worried about playing against him, it is a sign of Cagliari moving in the right direction. Cagliari have had very little possession of the ball on average this season, and this has become a characteristic, as seen when they were 1-0 up with only 29 percent of the ball in the first half. Daniel Maldini scored in his fourth Serie A match on his 25th birthday, but despite some good saves, Juventus eventually equalized through Randal Kolo Muani's header. Both Pisacane and Spalletti were shown red cards at the end of the match. "It could have ended with a hug, I'm sorry it happened that way, but Spalletti made it seem yesterday that he was concerned, and that's a sign of justice for the boys," Piccane told DAZN Italia.

Pisacane added, "If in Week 6 Juventus are worried that they will not win in Cagliari, it is a sign that we are in the right direction. Juventus played perfectly right to draw, but given their potential, they could have scored even more goals. If it had been the other way around, they should have been really worried."

With this result Cagliari remains ahead of Juventus in the Serie A table, after six rounds, Cagliari has won three consecutive wins. "What I have to say right now is that we have to keep our spirits up and stay alert. I see a team that wants to do something different from previous years. That doesn't mean we have to be at the top of the table, but as long as we can stay there, we will try our best," said Piscane.

"When you are under pressure in any game, you have to stay organized and endure. I don't want to be arrogant, but looking at the ability of the Juventus team, I said that if we lose today, I can't complain, because the team played in both phases according to our preparation. We have to improve our game. Cagliari has kept very little of the ball this season, only 28 percent against Juventus, but Pisacane defended his approach. “Sometimes people point out the number of shots we give up, but that's OK for a team of our level. We allow shots on goal because we have players who are ready to throw themselves at whatever comes their way. It's that feeling I like to see."

What will happen next

Cagliari hope to move forward with confidence after this draw, while their Serie A position remains strong. In the next matches, he will have to improve his playing style even more, especially in terms of ball control. Pisane and his team will now need to keep their performances consistent to remain high in the Serie A table.
