ImageNorwegian international goalkeeper Selma Panengstuen says she has made a "dream" move by joining Women's Super League side Tottenham Hotspur. The 23-year-old Panengstuen played a key role for SK Brann in 2025, helping the team capture its second league title. He appeared in 27 league matches that season and kept 18 clean sheets. Panengstuen made her international debut in a friendly against Sweden in June 2025, and in September she also played in a 1–0 win against Manchester United in the first leg of a Women's Champions League qualifier. Even in the current Norwegian season, he has kept 8 clean sheets from 11 matches. She has decided to join Tottenham because she wants to play in the Women's Super League. “This is a project that is on the upswing,” Panengstuen said. The length of his contract has not been disclosed. "Selma is a goalkeeper who has excellent ability and who has a strong foundation of his game. The qualities he has are very important for us, such as shot-stopping ability, courage, communication, athleticism and a mentality to improve every day," said Tottenham coach Martin Ho.---
