• It cost Vinicius 70 million euros.

Vinicius Junior's transfer value has recently dropped by 70 million euros. This valuation has declined from 200 million euros to 130 million euros over the past two years. This decline comes as the price of young players, such as Yann Diamande and Arda Gular, has risen sharply.

In 2024, Vinicius' value reached 200 million euros (US$224 million), making him one of the most expensive players in the world. At that time he won the Champions League with Real Madrid and was named the best player of the tournament. However, after two years, their value has declined.

However, if we look at his performances, Vinicius scored 22 goals and provided 19 assists in the 2024-2025 season. His statistics then improved even further in the 2025–2026 season, in which he scored 33 goals and provided 14 assists. These figures show that he is still making important contributions to his team.

But, players' value does not depend only on individual statistics. Real Madrid's collective performances and his role in the Brazil national team are also important. Spanish media said that "although Vinicius' statistics are impressive, he no longer looks as impressive as before."

Meanwhile, Yann Diamande, who plays for Real Madrid, has seen his value increase by 30 million euros. He is one of La Liga's fastest-growing players at the moment, with Arda Gular's valuation rising by €10 million to €100 million.

Lamin Yamal remains the top player in La Liga, valued at €220 million, making him the most expensive player. He is only 19 years old, and has impressed everyone with his talent. Apart from Yamal, Barcelona also has three more players on this list, namely Pedri and Fermin Lopez.

Thus, the valuation competition between Real Madrid and Barcelona continues, which also indicates the emergence of young talents.

What will happen next

Real Madrid may now need to rethink their strategies, especially with the value of young players such as Yann Diamande and Arda Gular increasing. It will be interesting to see how Vinicius will maintain his form and whether he can improve his performances further. His role and contribution in La Liga will be important in the upcoming matches.
